[UPDATE] Hi friends! The spring meeting will be on Sunday 6th at 2pm. ****Meet at the entrance of the SSMU building (University Centre).*** Topics of discussion will be as followed: 1. Presentation of Campus Crops and current situation 2. Starting the season          2.1 Plans and calendar          2.2 Seedlings          2.3 City of Montreal compost giveaway          2.4 Garden opening 3. Schedule for garden maintenance until May 4. Other stuff, if need be Remember that volunteers are welcome to join at any time, so the only thing you're missing if you can't come to the meeting is giving your input on stuff. Here's a little update on last Sunday's meeting. We discussed the crops we wanted to grow this year and came up with (very, very rough) plans for the garden and container garden (below). We also decided we wanted to look into adding flowers to the gardens, as well as perennial vegetables and fruit bushes in the soil garden specifically. We'll be starting our seedlings as soon as we know we have a space in some greenhouse (we're currently looking to get into the M acDonald greenhouse). We'll open the gardens as soon as the soil is workable (probably mid to late April). We'll want to get some compost from the City of Montreal give-away if we have access to a car around that time, too. People who couldn't attend the meeting are still welcome to volunteer with us this summer. No gardening experience is necessary.
